Our Story

Hart & Hollow began in 2018 when Lauren started an online retail boutique during one of the most defining seasons of her life. Determined to create a better future for herself and her two children, she built the business as a path toward independence, strength, and rebuilding.

A collaboration with a prominent influencer became a turning point — giving Lauren the opportunity to leave a difficult chapter behind and begin creating a new life rooted in freedom and purpose.

Five years later, Lauren invited her younger sister to join the business as a 50/50 partner. At the time, her sister had recently graduated high school and was working a traditional 9-to-5 job, but together they shared a bigger vision. Just two weeks into the partnership, they made a bold decision: Lauren paused the retail side of the business, and her sister left the corporate world to build Hart & Hollow together.

Only one month after launching as partners, they were able to retire their mom from her 20-year career — allowing her to earn the same income while experiencing far less stress and becoming part of the growing family business.

Since January 2022, Hart & Hollow has grown from operating out of a backyard shed to moving three times, now settling into a 2,000 sq ft warehouse where creativity and collaboration thrive. Today, alongside Lauren, her sister, and their mom, the team has expanded to include additional employees who help bring their vision to life.

What began with a single shirt — “She Is” — remains at the heart of their brand. The design is still available today as a reminder of where it all started and the strength behind their journey.

As life has evolved, so has the business. Lauren is now happily married and raising three children, and her sister is newly married with a sweet baby of her own. Together, they continue building a brand rooted in family, resilience, and growth.
